Providing nutrition education, breastfeeding support, healthy foods and referrals during the critical stages of fetal and early childhood development.

WIC now offers a convenient eWIC card for your benefits so you can easily shop for what you need as you need it!  In addition, WIC provides free health screenings and breastfeeding support at appointments in a timely manner to help our participants stay healthy and get you on your way!  Some appointments can even be done over the phone (certain restrictions apply).

Update as of Monday, September 11, 2023:

Starting Monday, Sept. 11, WIC will be shifting to new hours based on participant feedback. Additional evening appointments will be available on the 1st and 3rdThursday of every month, and all clinic locations will be closed on Fridays. This change might not be permanent, and we will update you as we learn more about how to provide the best service to our participants. Eligibility

  • A pregnant woman;
  • A mother of an infant up to 6 months old;
  • A breastfeeding mother with an infant up to 12 months old;
  • An infant or child up to 5 years old; or
  • A father, grandparent, foster parent, or caregiver applying for their children up to age 5 years old.

WIC applicants must reside in Pennsylvania; have a medical or nutritional risk (determined by a qualified nutritionist through a careful assessment of the participant’s dietary, environmental, and medical history); and have a gross household income that meets the WIC Income Guidelines below. U.S. citizenship is not a requirement for WIC participation.

The Women, Infants, and Children Nutrition Program (WIC) supports pregnant women, mothers, and caregivers of infants and young children to keep themselves and their families healthy. WIC provides nutrition services, breastfeeding support, healthy foods, and referrals to health and social services.
