Making sure that local, state and national policies reflect the nature of CAP and our mission is very important to us. We maintain a membership in the National Community Action Federation, which is providing national advocacy for the entire community action sector, and staff and volunteers who meet regularly with elected officials to connect the dots on how legislation and policy impacts anti-poverty work.
It is our goal to create and maintain positive working relationships with individuals and organizations working towards equity, justice and prosperity in our community and the nation as a whole.
