Nutrition Educator

Health & Nutrition – Full-Time

The Community Action Partnership (CAP) of Lancaster County is seeking a dedicated and responsible, full-time Nutrition Educator to educate Lancaster County residents about healthy food choices and promoting positive nutrition-related behaviors through the development and support of public and private partnerships. This includes visiting school classrooms, food pantries, and senior centers to teach nutrition lessons with food tastings.  CAP offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.


Community Health Resource Coordinator

Navigation – Full-Time

The Community Health Resource Coordinator (CHRC) serves as a liaison between Lancaster Health Center (LHC), social services, and the community to facilitate access to services and improve the quality and cultural competence of service delivery. The CHRC’s primary role is to build individual and community capacity by increasing empowerment and awareness through a range of activities. In addition, the CHRC will cultivate partnerships to strategically address the six Social Determinants of Health to ensure continued quality of life and economic empowerment. The CHRC will address immediate, short-term crises aligned with the Social Determinants of Health with a person-centered approach that empower individuals. The person or family being served is the leader, and the CHRC’s role is to serve, support, and guide that leader in reaching greater levels of stability. Floating Teaching Assistant (30 hrs/week)

Head Start – Full-Time

The Community Partnership of Lancaster County is seeking a full-time Floating Teaching Assistant. This position is for  the 2020-2021 school year and part of the Head Start teaching support team that does not have permanent classroom placement and schedule. The Community Action Partnership (CAP) of Lancaster County is seeking a dedicated and energetic, full-time Birth-3 Lead Teacher responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, coordinating the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. B-3 Lead Teacher must understand children’s cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engages and encourages succeeding. The teacher must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns.
