This position is for  the 2020-2021 school year and part of the Head Start teaching support team that does not have permanent classroom placement and schedule. Parents as Teachers – Part-Time

The Community Action Partnership (CAP) of Lancaster County is seeking a dedicated and responsible, part-time (22.5 hrs/wk) Family Development Specialist/Cocalico Early Learning Mentor to assists in the recruiting of families who would benefit from the Parents as Teachers program, carries out the implementation and reporting of home visits, assists with district educational opportunities and workshops for families with children ages birth to age 5, and assists families in acquiring appropriate community resources. Parent Navigator – Teen Fathers

Navigation – Part-Time

The Community Action Partnership (CAP) of Lancaster County is seeking a part time Parent Navigator. The primary role is to work alongside young fathers under the age of 21 who are enrolled in the School District of Lancaster, GED Program, or Promoting Responsible Fatherhood Program. Promoting Responsible Fatherhood Initiative utilizes the 24/7 Dad curriculum to strengthen father and child engagement, improve employment and economic mobility, and foster responsible parenting to strengthen relationships. The Teen ELECT Parent Navigator will provide 1:1 supportive services and coaching to increase a young father’s confidence, competence and connection as a young parent.


Early Learning Coordinator/Center Director

Early Childhood Education – Full-Time

The Community Action Partnership (CAP) of Lancaster County is seeking a full time Early Learning Coordinator to supervise all classroom staff in order to ensure culturally responsive, developmentally appropriate educational program including; staffing, managing attendance, responding to personnel issues, addressing performance issues, providing regular feedback to support growth and annual evaluation. Early Leaning Coordinator responsibilities include educational program, personalized supports, family engagement, health & safety, collaboration & leadership, and other job – related duties as assigned. Preschool Teaching Assistant

The Community Action Partnership (CAP) of Lancaster County is seeking a dedicated full-time Teaching Assistant who will directly support the Lancaster County Head Start (LCHS) program. The successful candidate will assist in implementing practices in accordance with program guidelines and Head Start initiatives. This position is part of the Head Start teaching team that has primary classroom placement. Main role is to support the Lead Teacher and the children in the classroom. The Community Action Partnership (CAP) of Lancaster County is seeking a dedicated and energetic, full-time Birth-3 Lead Teacher responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, coordinating the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. B-3 Lead Teacher must understand children’s cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engages and encourages succeeding. The teacher must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns.
