Preschool Teaching Assistant

Education & Child Development – Full-Time

The Community Action Partnership (CAP) of Lancaster County is seeking a dedicated full-time Teaching Assistant who will directly support the Lancaster County Head Start (LCHS) program. The successful candidate will assist in implementing practices in accordance with program guidelines and Head Start initiatives. This position is part of the Head Start teaching team that has primary classroom placement. Main role is to support the Lead Teacher and the children in the classroom. Birth-3 Lead Teacher

Education & Child Development – Full-Time

The Community Action Partnership (CAP) of Lancaster County is seeking a dedicated and energetic, full-time Birth-3 Lead Teacher responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, coordinating the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. B-3 Lead Teacher must understand children’s cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engages and encourages succeeding. The teacher must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns. Resource Liaison

Navigation – Full-Time

CAP’s Resource Liaison’s primary role is to work with people who have short-term needs focused on; a) around displaced families from condemnation of their homes and, b) people with immediate short-term crisis around housing, food insecurity, childcare, etc. The person or family being serves is the leader, and Liaison’s role is to serve, support, and guide that leader in reaching greater levels of stability. The Liaison is a combination ally, advocate, coach, strategist and detective. CAP offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.


Early Learning Coordinator

Early Childhood Education – Full-Time

The Community Action Partnership (CAP) of Lancaster County is seeking a full time Early Learning Coordinator to supervise all classroom staff in order to ensure culturally responsive, developmentally appropriate educational program including; staffing, managing attendance, responding to personnel issues, addressing performance issues, providing regular feedback to support growth and annual evaluation. Early Leaning Coordinator responsibilities include educational program, personalized supports, family engagement, health & safety, collaboration & leadership, and other job – related duties as assigned. Children’s Advocate

Domestic Violence Services (DVS) of Lancaster County – Full-Time

Community Action Partnership’s Domestic Violence Services Program (DVS) seeks an energetic and creative individual for the position of FT Children’s Advocate, based in the DVS Safe House. The Children’s Advocate provides direct services and education to parents and child victims of domestic violence. The advocate also assists with domestic violence and dating violence programming in the community. Hours are flexible: 1:00pm – 8:30pm M-Th, and 9am-4:30pm F. Floater

Early Childhood Education – Full-Time

The Floater position is part of the Head Start teaching support team that does not have permanent classroom placement and scheduled assignments vary from day to day depending on the needs of the program.
