Prenatal – 3rd Grade (P-3) Facilitator – Washington Elementary

The Community Action Partnership (CAP) of Lancaster County is seeking a part-time Prenatal -3rd Grade (P-3) Facilitator to facilitate P-3 initiatives and promote prenatal through third-grade alignment within the George Washington Elementary Community. Efforts will focus on aligning, enhancing, and increasing systems and services for children on the P-3 continuum to improve long-term outcomes for children in alignment with the P-3 plan, district goals, and P-3 Partnership and P-3 Partnership Pathways. Qualifications
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Creative, self-motivated, able to manage multiple tasks/roles at one time, and highly dedicated to the alignment of programs and practices for child prenatal to 3rd grade
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of local, state, and national resources for developing P-3 initiatives
- Understanding of both early learning and K-12 contexts, environments, and barriers
- Knowledge of PA Standards (Infant/Toddler – High School) and PA Cores Standards
- Demonstrated ability to read, analyze and interpret data. Use of data in making informed decisions
- Strong knowledge of theories and practices of Early Childhood Education/Development typically gained via experience and/or education
- High level of skill in office procedures and practices with the ability to use multiple computer software, spreadsheet/database, email programs, and web browsers
- Ability to coordinate and facilitate meetings and training
Skills and Experience
Education, Experience, and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Learning Childhood, Elementary Education, Human Services, or elated field preferred
- Three years of experience with working with early learning or K-12 education programs preferred
- Demonstrate experience working effectively with families, children, and community partners
- Oversee the implementation of the Washington P-3 plan, monitor timelines, and report progress
- Participate in P-3 Partnership Pathways workgroups, partner meetings, and other P-3 trainings
- Be visible in the school community to form relationships with children and families
- Prepare and provide both written and oral reports to key stakeholders
- Ability to speak, read and write fluently in English; effective communication skills
- PA Act 33 and 34 certifiable, FBI, Child Abuse, and PA Police State clearances
