Celebrating 50 Years of WIC

Celebrating 50 Years of WIC

In honor of WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) reaching its milestone of supporting families for 50 years, we are hosting an open enrollment celebration at CAP!

Join us for this *free* event to learn about resources available through WIC, including nutrition education, breastfeeding support, resource referrals, and healthy foods access, and enroll while you’re there.

Friday, September 20  ·  9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Nature’s Classroom at CAP
601 South Queen Street, Lancaster, PA

Bring the whole family and enjoy family-friendly entertainment! We’ll have a coffee cart, WIC food demonstrations and samplings, a DJ, and games and activities for kids. Community partners will be on-site to share about their resources and offer community giveaways.

Additionally, WIC will be offering a special gift to new and returning WIC enrollees that day. We hope to see you there!

Please note, if you are a person with a disability, desire to attend the 50th Anniversary WIC Enrollment Event, and require an auxiliary aid, service, or other accommodation to participate, please contact Mary Quiles Cespedes, Lancaster ADA Coordinator: 717-299-8079.

PA WIC is funded by the USDA. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.
