We believe access to nutritious food and nourishing personal health options empowers families to be the stewards of their well-being and cultivates a thriving Lancaster County bolstered by community health.
Women, Infants, & Children (WIC)
The Women, Infants, and Children Nutrition Program (WIC) supports pregnant women, mothers, and caregivers of infants and young children to keep themselves and their families healthy. WIC provides nutrition services, breastfeeding support, healthy foods, and referrals to health and social services during the critical stages of fetal and early childhood development.
Nutrition Education Program
The Nutrition Education Program (NEP) is a SNAP-Ed program funded by the US Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service (FNS).
Senior Centers
CAP’s Senior Centers connect older adults to support services, socialization, and recreation in Lancaster City and Columbia.
The centers provide a great way to help older adults stay connected to their community, spend time with peers, and participate in trips to local areas of interest.
Food Distribution
The Food Distribution Center acquires and distributes food and fresh produce to local food pantries and feeding programs that serve people who are experiencing food insecurity.
